Football predictions 1×2 for Egypt – Uruguay
The second match of the first round of Group A at the World Cup 2018 is between the national selections of Egypt and Uruguay. The meeting will be played on 15 June in Ekaterinburg.
Uruguay is the big favorite according to bookmakers in this group at the World Cup. It is expected that Oscars Tabarez’s students will fight for the first place and have a lighter rival on the 1/8-finals. However, teams such as Egypt and Russia may pose a threat to Uruguay, so they have to be extremely concentrated in their championship appearances.
The Uruguayan team relies on a lot of experienced footballers, but there are also young stars such as Jose Jimenez, Rodrigo Bentacour and Max Gomez. Of course, the big expectations for Uruguay are related to the attackers, Essonne Cavani and Luis Suarez. At the door, the team has an experienced player like Fernando Musler, and Diego Godin and Martin Caceres are also names with a serious business card for Ursus defense. The two-time world champion ranked second in the South American qualification, with only Brazil ahead of them in the group. Uruguay had no problems with winning a quota for the finals in Russia. They really have a pretty good team like this is not in doubt and they are favorites at the start of the tournament against Egypt.
The Egyptian team will arrive in Russia with the self-confidence of a finalist for the African Nations Cup. The Pharaohs also have a world class star in the face of Mohammed Salah in their composition. Egypt hopes to make a feat to the World Cup 2018 and skip the group stage. To meet this goal, it will be very important for Egyptians not to lose in their first World Cup finals. This, of course, will be a difficult task, and Egypt’s main problems are in defense. There they do not have enough class in composition and I think the more experienced team of Uruguay will take advantage of this fact, Suarez and Cavani will lead the South American team to victory at the start of World Cup 2018.
